Upcoming Home Show: We will be setting up a booth in March at the Home and Garden Show located at the Reading Expo Center. The show dates are Friday March 13th to Sunday March 15th. Come check it out.

Bring A Friend Discount: For the remainder of the month of March and all of April, we are offering a special discount to our customers. If you bring a friend or refer a new customer to our business, you and your friend will each receive a 5% discount on your material purchases over $50.00. Visit our Specials page for more information on this discount.

New Moulding Profiles: Here at Bailey Wood Products, we are constantly adding new profile knives to our inventory. This last month we added a new base cap profile, BC001, and a 1 1/2" Full Round profile, FR002. We have some stock on hand for the base cap, but the 1 1/2" Full Round is a special order item at this time. If you have any questions about our molding stock or profiles, just contact us with your inquiries.

Restocked Items: We recently restocked our 4/4 Poplar Shorts bin and our 4/4 Walnut Shorts bin. These items tend to be very popular, so the stock could disappear fast. We also just restocked our 5/4 Hard Maple bin, our 8/4 African Mahogany bin, and our 4/4 Curly Cherry bin.

Spring Is Coming: That means baseball season is just around the corner and the sound of the crack of the bat is a teasing thought in the back of fans minds. Here at Bailey Wood Products, we stock good quality Ash and Hard Maple rounded billet stock. We have a fair amount of Ash billets on hand with more in the works. The Hard Maple stock is limited at this time, but we also have more of this stock in the works as well. We will sell as little as one billet to our customers, however we do offer a large volume discount. We also offer Ash and Hard Maple bat billet seconds at a discounted price. These billets usually have some minor defects but could be used for training bats or practice bats. If you have any interest in this product, feel free to contact us with your inquiries.

Here at Bailey Wood Products, we can offer customers another option if they do not wish to use a domestic hardwood for their floor. We can supply exotic flooring to meet their specific needs.

There are some exotic species that are more readily available on the market than others. These species include Brazilian Cherry(Jatoba), Brazilian Walnut(IPE), Southern Chesnut(Cumaru), Santos Mahogany, and Tigerwood. These species can come unfinished or prefinished.

The unfinished flooring is 3/4" thick, tongue and grooved with stress relief on the back side. It would have square edges and be end matched. Lengths can range from 12" up to 84" with an average length of 38". Widths are 2 1/4", 3", 4", and 5" in the species listed, however, the Tigerwood is only available in the 3 1/4" face. These species are supplied in a clear grade only.

The prefinished flooring is 3/4" thick, tongue and grooved with stress relief on the back side. It would have a micro-beveled ege and be end matched(square edged). Lengths can range from 12" up to 84" with an average length of 38". Width is 3" for the Brazilian Cherry, Southern Chestnut, and the Santos Mahogany. Tigerwood is available in the 3 1/4" and a 5 1/4" face. Brazilian Walnut is not readily available pre-finished. These species are supplied in a clear grade only.

We would be happy to take quotes for custom flooring made from these species or any other species not listed above.
