for the job.

Ipe - also known as Brazilian Walnut, is one of the hardest woods on the planet. Unlike softwoods, its tighter grain allows for very slow water absorption preventing cupping, bowing, and twisting.

Technical Information:

-no harmful chemicals used for treatment
-durability rating of 25 years
-offered as an air-dried product at 12% moisture content
-wood weighs approximately 64 pounds per cubic foot

Mangeris Diamond - This is a plantation grown product from Indonesia. It comes from well managed permanent forests that are replanted in a program of sustainable agriculture. Its color is yellowish brown with a grain similar to Ipe and it has similar properties to Ipe as well.
