We are continually seeking figured logs to saw out stock to make blanks for gun stocks. We have had the fortune to be able to come across nicely figured Curly Maple and Walnut that we cut and dry for the manufacture of custom rifle stocks. Figured logs are a rare find. Not all trees produce the beautiful curly figuring that others produce. This is a beautiful natural occurrence. When we find a log suitable for stock manufacture we process it to produce the best figure that it will yield. Our inventory is constantly changing due to availability of figured logs. We do also see some figure in Ash and will cut crotch in Walnut when available.
